Experienced educators are the backbone of our success. All Academy teachers are Montessori trained and certified from well established area, national and international Montessori programs. Your child’s teacher works closely with your child giving guidance when needed. Our staff is trained to observe the individual interests and needs of each child, demonstrate the correct use of classroom materials, and guide your child into appropriate activities.

Once students enter the Primary levels, they remain with their teachers from ages three to six, building community and self-esteem from an early age. Continuing education for our teachers is not only encouraged, but funded by the Friends of the Montessori Academy of Chicago.

Staff complete Paraprofessional Courses at certified Montessori educational centers and all assistants are placed with a certified teacher.
